While over in Zurich with work this week, I did have the opportunity to visit the centre and stroll around the old town on the banks on the Limmat river.
Here is shot of the old town while crossing the Limmat.
Where I was working and staying was much more industrial and suburban.
The public transport service on the trains is a very efficient and important part of the infrastructure of Switzerland.
Here is a shot of the track near Schlieren station.
There is an interesting mix of old & new, as well as space and structure.
