Today we celebrated Chinese New Year, a fairly simple meal, of chicken stir fry and noodles, and other typical Chinese starters and sides.
The girls have covered Chinese New Year as part of their school work, and were excited to be celebrating the event at home. They even had a lucky red envelope each. 
It seemed fitting occasion too, the mark the passing of my Grandmother Lily Song. Who passed away peacefully last week, after living well into her nineties and having enjoyed a richly blessed and adventurous life. She will be enjoying new things now with her Lord Jesus.
