We had a fab day out at Quarry Bank & Styal Mill today. The autumn colours in the
trees were fabulous, and we all enjoyed exploring the grounds & gardens,
and playing at the playground.

An action shot from ManUtd vs Wolfsburg in the 1st half of the UEFA Champions League match.
Berbatov played very well, and he put in some very nice touches in throughout the match.

ManUtd won 2-1 on the night.  Wolfsburg showed why they won the German league, would imagine they would finish 2nd in the group.

While over in Zurich with work this week, I did have the opportunity to visit the centre and stroll around the old town on the banks on the Limmat river.

Here is shot of the old town while crossing the Limmat.

Where I was working and staying was much more industrial and suburban.

The public transport service on the trains is a very efficient and important part of the infrastructure of Switzerland.

Here is a shot of the track near Schlieren station.

There is an interesting mix of old & new, as well as space and structure.

This shot may be captures some of that.

If I get some photos of a reasonable quality I’ll add them to the post.

This is a picture of the Amber and her friend Emily playing a soft play centre which had a helicopter cockpit as part of the play frame.
